we are very proud to present this new single on help! the a-side, gratitude, is a track recorded in 2014 by dj central in rubber studios, aarhus. if it wasnt for the support and encouragement of fellow regelbau-homies kasper skov and dj sports, this piece of energetic dancemusic wouldn t have seen the light of day. the long, vivid, ambient penta-tune on the 2nd face was recorded during same summer in amsterdam by ask your hands (tobias sachse, kaap, bobby van putten, dj sports and central). releases like this dont thread everybodys needle but we are gonna throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

following a summer of fifth birthday celebrations, tom tragos voyage direct label returns to action with a brand new 12inch from amsterdam scene stalwart simon weiss. although a new member of the voyage direct family, weiss is no newcomer to the scene. hes previously delivered high grade eps for rush hour, deepermotions and home taping is killing music, and his contribution to first mission, voyage directs fifth anniversary compilation, was one of the undoubted highlights of that set.

as he keeps busy on d edge s new sub label olga with a brand new artist album, boss man renato ratier also manages to serve up a hot new ep on the main label with dynamic regard stimming. the pair cook up two fine tracks that showcase both of their styles in all their glory. philosophy goes first and is a playful, loose limbed dance floor groover with parping blasts of sub bass, richly soulful pads and slow burning sense of crescendo that will really lift dancers up and carry them away. it is perfectly detailed and expertly produced to really jump out of the speakers and is sure to be a massive hit this summer in brazil and beyond. conscious then flips the script and slows to a perfectly seductive crawl. lazy drums, slow blasts of white noise and a poignant bassline all get backed by glowing pads and the overall effect is soothing, seductive and sensual. this is a fine ep from two very talented producers and cements a long standing relationship in style.

goldmin music label founder romain lanteaume alias einka meets detroit minimalism master terrence dixon aka population one for a truly conceptual techno 12-.. terrence dixon is one of our favorite artists and biggest inspiration.. detroitborn artist released his first 12- back in 1994 followed by several quintessential records and 2 epic albums -from the far future- on legendary berlin-based label tresor. terrence is not only a great techno producer who makes subwoofers roar in clubs, he is a man obsessed by a concept, an idea that he s following from the very beginning.. -minimalism- in the reaaaaal sense of the word.. for example, when thousands producers are wondering what s eventually missing in their new track, terrence is rather wondering what s useless, what could be removed and that s definitely what he gets to share on his own -reduction- imprint. after the release of terrence s track -steve austin s mile- on goldmin theme lp, romain got to meet him in detroit during summer 2014. the aim was to make an abstract record that could still be linked to a feeling or a situation.. a1 the edge track is probably a good example as it s designed and built to make you feel like you get closer and closer to the edge while the track is slowly growing until you fall.. can you feel it? :) as for the other tracks, there is also a special idea behind them but we better let you interpret it your way

the analog music project is a musical act that focus on building a coherent sound stage using only vintage musical instruments. its debut album odyssey features seven original themes, as well as covers from artists such as krafwerk, roy ayres and vangelis.  from electro-bossa to cosmic-swing, the projects revives and reinvents classic genres giving them a modern analog twist. when listening to odyssey, which was developed over two years of hard work, one can hear a fine selection  of exquisite musical instruments.

meeting up in australia after time spent in europe and north america, old friends and collaborators angus gruzman (dreems) and jono ma (jagwar ma) teamed up in sydney and celebrated their personal climate change with a cover of the moffs 80s cult classic. equal parts of each artist shimmer in this visceral version of *another day in the sun*. a love letter to the end of the summer, also featuring the vocals of gabriel winterfield (jagwar ma), the song takes sonic cues from their surroundings on the australian east coast.

dj ralf is the italian icon who runs the much loved laterra recordings label and management, and is now back with ‘er suonone’, a new track from margot that is all set to be a late summer smash. anyone who has heard the legendary dj ralf (a cult figure who has been the subject of a documentary, has played all over the world, runs his own legendary bella ciao party and holds a cult residency in cocorico) play recently will most likely have heard this track in his set, and it has been an unknown but much loved secret weapon for a while now. as such this one sided vinyl pressing will please many people who have been hunting it down. margot, of course, is an italian pair of accomplished producers who have released on, les disques de la mort, hell yeah and border community and run their own margot records label. ‘er suonone’ is a pumping, deep, slow burning bit of cosmic house that builds and builds and teasers listens without ever releasing the pressure. monstrous kick drums drive it down below, pixelated stabs add suspense in the distance and icy hi hats slither in the foreground. it’s the sort of track to drop right at the peak time and it will surely go right off, with people fist pumping along to the groove.

following up the fantastic summer re-release of upsetting keys “empathy” ep, path records follows with its first new catalogue number since 2006. path 008 marks the return of artist fate 258, whose 1999 “why 2k” path 001 ep has been a hotly sought after item on discogs. the three-track ep contains two exciting new mixes of cult classic techno track “the path”. the a-side version “path to hell” is the harder of the pair, a dark edgy journey into the unknown with shuffling 808 rhythms providing much of the melody. “path to heaven” slows the groove down and adds warm juno pads throughout the mix for a very deep detroit flavored techno style. on the final track “heaven or hell” sort of a broken beat downtempo piece, sparse vocals and bladerunner samples mix to complete the dystopian concept. these mixes of “the path” are considered pre-mixes, as they were completed in 1998 before the original release of path 001. fate 258 is a project from brooklyn producer reade truth, known for his work over the last decades on labels such as planet e, sonic groove, n-syde, wurst and strictly rhythm to name a few. limited to 250 worldwide, with the first 100 including full black and white cover art.

broken grooves are almost always present in arapus productions and pitfall is no different. with a trippy synth that goes all the way and effected voices to go along, this track rules the night and the whole a side.
two tracks found their way on the b side and their flavour is quite different. escape is a pure deep house gem, and a clear indication of arapus soulful influence. extremely danceable and super uplifting, this track brings the summer back. wasting on the other hand is dark and has a dirty broken tech groove. this track may seem toolish but it s a monster when it hits.

marquis hawkes returns with a new ep for houndstooth, sweet. pairing up a sugary r&b sample with his signature swinging but slamming beats, opening cut when i get home is a return to the flavour of last year s summer smash cant find a reason, although this time around, it s more tracky and introspective. next up, a different facet of hawkes production talents is reprised with at the witness stand, a trippy take on classic ny freestyle. opening the b-side, title track sweet furthers hawkes trademark rough and ready house sound with distinctive vocal hooks and a hip-twitching rhythm, whilst bringing up the rear, what a relief is a raw but inescapably funky drum workout that would make the likes of traxmen & eric martin proud.
